Dog Cafe – Paw Pet-radise Cafe (CLOSED)

Paw Pet-radise Cafe isn’t a new player to the pet cafe scene. I’m sure most of you have visited it at some point since they opened in 2013. We had been there once ourselves, and I remember feeling that there was limited space for Polar to run around, and that the menu was small and lacked lustre.

When we heard that they renovated their establishment and re-invented their menu in May this year, we were a little skeptical – how much could it have changed? We decided to give the place another chance, especially after hearing a couple of friends rave about the new look.

We’re glad to report that Paw Pet-radise now offers a whole new experience from before, and we will definitely be going back!

Here’s why:

1. They’ve got a great new menu for the humans
You know what they say, the way to the man’s heart is through the stomach. During our visit, we saw that they had Salted Egg Fries, Salted Egg Calamari, Salted Egg Chicken. Being the big fan of salted egg that I am, I was sold.

Fried calamari (Owner of cafe noticed I loved salted egg so much that she came out with a saucer of salted egg sauce for me to dip. So much love)

The new menu comes with a selection of Korean and Japanese dishes with some local influences. It’s refreshing because most cafes serve Eggs Benedict to death and I was delighted at the change in scenery.

2. They’ve got a fantastic menu for the furkids
The portions are generous for the furkids (which I find rare these days). You can choose either sweet frozen treats or little bento sets.

In most cafes, I usually bring a small bag of kibbles to mix into the food for Polar as the portion is typically too small for a full meal. I loved how generous this cafe’s portions were, and I didn’t need to mix any kibbles in. There were bone shaped egg omelettes as well, which brought the aesthetic level up a few notches.

I had to feed Polar manually (give, take away, and repeat), to stop him from devouring the whole bento in 10 seconds. If your dog likes something sweet, you may want to try one of their frozen sweet treats made with yogurt and fruits.

3) More space for your dogs to run around

Interaction for the dogs is easy now, with more space for them to run around. This cafe has a lot of regulars, so you’ll see some of the dogs quite often.

Human vs Dogs

So that’s our 3 reasons of why you should head down to Paw Pet-radise Cafe if you haven’t.

Address is: 530 Balestier Road, Monville Mansion, #01-07, Singapore 329857

Opening Hours are: Generally 12pm – 11pm On weekends they open till 1am

For more details, you can check out their Facebook page here!

If you’re heading down there with your pooch, let us know! We’ll love to join you there.

One thing to note: Be very careful with your dog when the doors are opening. Even though there’s a safety door, sometimes dogs can still escape and run to the main road. We saw it happen once, but luckily, the owner retrieved the dog safely. Always hold on to your dog whenever someone is coming in or out.

Until next time, stay curious!
