Awesome Walks in Singapore – Springleaf Nature Park

Following from our visit to Verdure Cafe, we decided to explore the park it was situated at.

Little known to others, Springleaf Nature Park only just opened in November 2014. It used to be a kampung known as Chan Chu Kang, the park now includes trails, a rest shelter and an observation deck for bird-watchers.

We had a beautiful walk, it was quiet, scenic and a wonderful respite from the city buzz of Singapore. There were many moments where we felt like we were in another country with birds singing in the background, and cool breeze sweeping by us.

For now, I’ll let the pictures do the talking.

If you’re looking for some place scenic and quiet to have a lovely walk, you’ll definitely want to check this place out. After that, pop by Verdure Cafe for a nice hot meal, there can’t be a better way to end a beautiful evening.

Until next time, stay curious!
